Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) released the following statement on efforts to advance the Build Back Better Act:

"Above all else, the Build Back Better Act is a jobs and families plan at a time when Americans need us to deliver on both. This is more than a bill -- it is an investment in our future. This legacy legislation will create millions of jobs, make child and elder care more affordable and make our workforce globally competitive. Abandoning it is simply not an option," said Congresswoman Bustos.

"Working families and the middle class are the backbone of the Heartland and our nation, and it's time for us to build an economy that works for them. The future of our children, our families and our nation depends on us and I will continue to work to move the Build Back Better Act forward."
